12 minutes (any type) is most efficient for gold and 10 minutes (5 star legendary bounty or $$$ normal bounty with 4-6 alive targets for $/xp (at 30 minutes the payout caps but these times are when the returns start to diminish). The timer starts when mission starts and not the in game timer so do whatever for 5-10 minutes before rather then after. If you kill the bounty you only get 1/2 xp and $. Higher tiered or starred bounties payout more $ and xp (12%-50% depending) but not gold.
